My breakthrough moment during DonnAkademy's transformative program was when dancing through limitations revealed the power of authentic self-expression.
The following images were born from an extraordinary journey at DonnAkademy, a transformative women's course led by world-famous model Bernarda Marovt. Bernarda, along with her team of experts, created something rare—a space where women could truly explore who they are beneath society's expectations.
The course was focused on becoming more whole rather than just looking better! Led by the talented Bernarda Marovt and her fantastic team of specialists—including a psychologist, fashion stylist, personal trainer, and more—we explored eight exciting themes designed to empower women. It was all about discovering our inner energy, embracing our unique style, and fostering genuine personal growth from the inside out. I left feeling inspired and ready to take on the world!
The Moment Everything Changed
Professional photographer Ulla Wolk was capturing each of us, and I found myself sitting in a chair with no back support - already a small challenge in itself. As I watched the other women pose, I realized I couldn't copy anything from them. Some appeared stiff, while others seemed unrelaxed, and many looked embarrassed. They were all trying to find the "right" way to be photographed.
But I'm a dancer. So instead of searching for someone else's version of beauty, I did what felt natural. I started dancing, right there in that chair. I moved with the rhythm I felt inside, letting my body express what my mind couldn't articulate, waiting for photographer Ulla to capture whatever moment spoke to her.

What Ulla captured was pure magic! In that moment, everything from Bernarda's course clicked into place. My striped outfit is a bold metaphor for the expectations we face as women, while I feel completely free and expressive.
